Well we have arrived...what else is there to say....I dread the trip home. Not because I dont want to be home but because this has been the most exhausting trip I have ever taken. 4 kids, 1000 miles, 16 hour drive one way....I am exhausted. We left yesterday at about 2:30pm. We got stuck in Dallas traffic at 5:oopm. Finally got hotel rooms in Amarillo at 12:00am. Finally fell asleep by 1:30 am, just to be woke up again at 7:00 am to do it all again today.
Today wasnt so bad because we finally got into the mountains and the snow and the kids were in awe. But by the time we arrived at 4:00pm in Fairplay at our cabin the kids were restless. We tried to warn them that the snow would freeze their hands because we havent bought any gloves for them yet but they are kids and wouldnt listen...so Aaron braved the 28 degree temperature to take them out in the snow. Five minutes later here they come....covered in snow, cold and yep, their hands were frozen. the little ones didnt take it too bad they just did as they were told and stuck their hands under their arms. My 1o yr old neice on the other hand screamed and cried like she was dying.....on a side note yall pray for my sanity. This child is enough to drive anyone crazy.
But we got them all taken care of, got them fed, bathed and now they are sound asleep in their beds. In fact everyone is sound asleep.....except me. And that is where I am headed, with the time change here, it is 10 pm here while my body thinks it is still central time so, it is telling me its time for bed. I will post pics later this week. I will have LOTS of pictures to show off. Prayers and blessings on all of you, and may God annoint tomorrows service greatly...I am hoping some one might video tape tomorrow night...I miss having to miss service already!
Hope yall are having lots of fun! We missed yall this weekend. Love you bunches!
